Our R&D hub at Merck Serono headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland has a broad focus, comprising Rheumatology, Endocrinology and Fertility, Neurodegenerative Diseases and Oncology. Our laboratory research concentrates on the discovery of biotherapeutics and small molecules for the treatment of diseases.
More than 700 R&D employees in Geneva bring their expertise and know-how to a variety of areas critical for successful drug discovery and development -- pharmacology, chemistry, bioinformatics, biotechnology, monoclonal antibodies, pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenetics, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, quality assurance and drug safety. Our student and post-doc program provides additional resources and expertise, enhancing creativity and innovation.
